'Elements' in Degree Show installation

Elements, Part 1 of triptych 'Passages' as it was hung in my Degree Show setup.

I constructed an installation recreating a room in an old farmhouse. The installations was based on the empty house I'd been working in, which inspired the works in the triptych, 'Passages'. I strove to include all the facets of the house that made the atmosphere there so evocative; smell, light, sound and a sense of the 'unheimlich' as described by Freud all hidden behind a heavy black curtain.
