Large mixed media drawing of a corvid nest found beside the lane, with a mummified young bird welded to the edge and apparently in the process of flying from the nest. I imagine it had been shot through the bottom of the nest as it attempted to take off. A ghastly, heartbreaking object but poignant on so many levels. I used the same motif in Corvid Nest 2 but switching the orientation from landscape to portrait.
