Old Harry
Large acrylic painting on canvas of Old Harry rocks, Dorset. Painted in my studio in Warminster from sketches and photographs taken from the boat for an exhibition called Chalk Marks held in Warminster and surrounds.
I like the way the shadows gave depth to the scene and, when I painted it, the strange fan shape at the top of the chalk cliff. Now I'd like to make that fan shape less assertive!
